"Amsterdam Vessels" Original Linocut print

This is a limited edition handmade original art print features iconic scenery from Amsterdam including the coat of arms and the St. Nicholas Church set behind a canal.  This print is hand carved and hand printed. There will be no more than 200 prints made in this color combination.

I have drawn this design, traced it onto a soft Japanese linoleum block and carved it myself. I have applied ink to the carved block by hand, and printed the design one by one.

As a result of the hand printing process, each and every print is unique and handmade, and will vary slightly from one another. Please note that little imperfections are possible in linocut prints and makes the print unique and gives it character.

Printed on handmade Japanese washi paper from the Awagami Factory in Japan. The paper is acid-free and is resistant to light and aging.

Printed with professional relief printing inks from Cranfield Colours.

(Please note that the artist may reproduce this print digitally at any point in the future via Risograph printer in different colors and sizes from the original, hand made version).

How is it Packed?

Your new print will be packed with a thick recycled cardboard backing board and enclosed in a plastic sleeve to protect it from any potential moisture during shipping. This will then be placed in a cardboard backed flat envelope.
